It’s a wonderful story - international beauty contest catapults participant to instant stardom. With Erin McNaught, however, no one is quite sure how the story will end.

Erin represented Australia in the 2006 Miss Universe competition, where she was thrust into the spotlight when she became a personal favorite of Donald Trump. An appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman was watched world-over, underlining her celebrity status.

Erin returned to Australia where she faced a massive publicity circuit. Erin met this campaign with poise, eloquence and a little bit of cheek; Erin impressed the local media with her youthful vitality.

It wasn’t long before Erin was in-demand, both as a model and a brand ambassador, and she quickly signed a contract with one of Australia’s best-loved contemporary fashion brands – WISH.

To utilize her many talents, Erin also pursued a career in television and media. A self-confessed adrenalin junkie, Erin seemed the perfect choice when she won the role as presenter of Network Ten’s national gaming and gadget show, CYBERSHACK. In 2009 Erin returned to host CYBERSHACK  on a new network, Channel 9.

The next milestone came with Erin winning a role on Australia’s best-loved soap drama – NEIGHBOURS, for which she temporarily relocated to Melbourne. With its enviable international audience, Erin’s role as Sienna elevated her career to a new and exciting level.

In 2009 Erin’s enthusiastic; “go getter” attitude and quirky sense of fun landed her the coveted role of permanent VJ on MTV alongside Ruby Rose and Darren McMullen.

Since joining MTV, Erin is the VJ presenter on news, MTV Summer and hosted a massive event for Optus 180, and is now co-hosting the MTV Hits Weekly Hot 30 Countdown, which broadcast on MTV Hits and the 2DAYFM Radio Network nationally.
She is also a widely sort after brand ambassador and was chosen as the Antz Pantz Ambassador for 2009/10, a relationship that has continued into 2011. She has also starred in the national Pepsi re-branding campaign, and is also the face of Mambo

A keen mountain biker, snowboarder and overall sports fiend, Erin was excited to travel to Japan for MTV’s Japan Jam, an event which ran over the month of February 2011. Erin is also a passionate advocate for environmental issues. She is an ambassador for Colonial First State Eco Gift Card Campaign, an initiative that has seen the world’s first biodegradable gift card.

Erin has been a celebrity guest on a variety of TV shows and was a very popular guest on a recent ‘Good News Week’ episode and has featured in series 6 of ‘Australia’s Next Top Model’.

In 2011, Erin became the brand ambassador for growing
footwear label, ZU. Erin’s collaboration with the ZU team launched during their
summer 2011 campaign, with Erin unveiling her first ever shoe range, ‘Naughty
for ZU (NFZ)’ which has been a great success. Her winter range launches in
store February 2012.



While past studies in Wildlife Biology have harnessed an ambition to produce wildlife documentaries, Erin is certainly relishing her current roles and growing profile.  She has also proved to be an engaging and accomplished public speaker and MC, always adding her own brand of youthful fun.

Erin has been the MC at many key industry events from hosting fashion awards, to technology client functions; she has the confidence and professionalism to suit all sorts of events.
