There is no such thing as a dull day or a slow week for Sally Obermeder as she covers a variety of roles at the Seven Network.

Most days she can be found immersed in the latest celebrity and fashion news while she prepares her reports as the National Entertainment and Lifestyle Reporter for Today Tonight.

Sally can also be spotted on The Morning Show, chatting with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies about her latest celebrity encounter and all the behind the scenes news.

Weekends find Sally back at her original Channel Seven role, as travel reporter for Sydney Weekender.

Sally loves being part of the Seven team and her genuine passion for entertainment, fashion and beauty, has meant that in her many roles at Seven she has definitely found her calling.

Since joining the Today Tonight team in 2008, Sally has interviewed some of the biggest names in music and movies. Beyonce, Hugh Jackman, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, David Copperfield, Alicia Keys, Tom Jones, Jerry Seinfeld, Sex And The City creator Darren Star, Hilary Swank and Sam Worthington are just a few of her recent interviews. 

The glamour girls are also on Sally’s list. She’s covered Elle Macpherson, Paris Hilton, Kristy Hinze, Abbey-Lee Kershaw, Rachel Hunter, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Hawkins, Danni Minogue and Sophie Monk.
    
As part of her role, Sally has also spent her days with fashion and cosmetics kings Alex Perry, Wayne Cooper, Jayson Brunsdon, Napoleon Perdis as well as bravely putting herself in the hands of Trinny and Susannah.

Sally’s favourite interviews so far? The man dubbed “Sexiest Man Alive” - Hugh Jackman and Pop Princess, Beyonce.

For Sydney Weekender, Sally is out on the road for this weekly travel and lifestyle show and she’s never shied away from the action.  She’s raced 18 foot skiffs, shook her booty in a Bollywood dance class and has swum with dolphins.

Sally is also a fully qualified personal trainer and Pilates instructor. She’s passionate about good health and fitness, and stays healthy and strong with soft sand running, yoga, weights and of course pilates.

Highly regarded as an accomplished compare, Sally is sought after as Master of Ceremonies for awards nights, fashion launches and corporate functions. She’s worked with Westfield, Myer’s ‘Fashions on the Field’ and The Australian Tourism Association.
